Burlesque (2011) DVDRip

Burlesque is a wide-screen directing debut for Steven Antin, formerly better known as an actor and director of several music videos. In addition to being a director, Antin also wrote this screenplay with Diablo Cody (Juno, 2008), before finally getting the manuscript was revised and edited again by Susannah Grant (Erin Brockovich, 2000). Unfortunately, although it has been handled by two Academy Award-caliber script writers, script, story Burlesque still resembles the script of stories written by an amateur: contains plot and shallow characterizations and dialogue that sometimes sounds a row of very silly.

Story about Ali Rose (Christina Aguilera), a girl who decides to leave his life that feels run flat for later achieved his own success by utilizing his talents in singing in Los Angeles. Feeling optimistic in the beginning, Ali then find the fact that success is not something that can be achieved easily. After meeting several times a rejection, Ali then managed to win an audition as a new dancer at a burlesque club run by Tess (Cher).

Starting from the point of this story, the story of Burlesque then filled with various conflicts that seemed very easy to predict. Ali fell in love with co-workers, Jack (Cam Gigandet), who actually has been engaged to a New York girl named Natalie (Dianna Agron). The arrival of Ali, who began to steal the show also makes the belle of the club, Nikki (Kristen Bell), began to feel unrivaled. The club owner, Tess, was also not spared from problems. Club began facing financial problems that seem to have made him sell the club to Marcus (Eric Dane), a real estate businessman who since long have interested the club.

Steven Antin seemed very aware that the way the story Burlesque did not offer something different. This is most likely to encourage Antin to then focus more on a row of musical scenes that were presented throughout the film. The decision is quite true, because the presence of singing and dancing in this movie who became the greatest life for Burlesque. Bringing about ten musical scenes, each scene explored with a pretty neat - both from the side of the stage, good costumes and appearance of those on stage. Unfortunately, the songs that were presented throughout the film is less felt so catchy. Enough to be enjoyed while the film is running, but almost can easily to be forgotten when the movie ended.
